Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrive Srinagar – Shikara Ride

You will be greeted by TOUROXY’s representative/driver as you arrive at Srinagar Airport. Once you board your vehicle, you will be transferred to your houseboat. Evening will be free for leisure.

Overnight stay at the houseboat in Srinagar.

DAY 2

Srinagar City Sightseeing

After the breakfast, proceed for  sightseeing in Srinagar.  Visit the world-famous Mughal Gardens - Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), and Chasme Shahi Garden, and also pay a visit to the Shankaracharya Temple. Later in the evening proceed for  shikara riding in Dal lake.

Overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.

DAY 3

Srinagar – Excursion to Pahalgam (100 Km / Approx. 3½ Hour Drive - One Way)

After breakfast, a drive to Pahalgam. Known as ‘The valley of Shepherds or Trekker's Paradise,’ Pahalgam (2133 mts) is one of the most popular tourist places in Kashmir and the top preference for Indian Film Industry.

En route, visit Saffron fields, Awantipur ruins (1100-yr-old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), the beauty of the countryside and lots of rice fields.

Reach Pahalgam and transfer to the hotel. After the lunch, visit the scenic and rocky valley of Chandanwadi, Snow Point (around 14 km from Pahalgam) and also enjoy an exciting pony ride.

Please note, all these activities will be conducted at your own expenses.

In the evening return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the houseboat.

Note : In Pahalgam, outside vehicles are not allowed for sightseeing. Only local taxis can roam around within Pahalgam. All outside vehicles will only be able to offer pick up & drop from the hotel.

DAY 4

Srinagar Airport Drop

Begin the last day of your tour package for Kashmir with a delicious breakfast at the houseboat. Post breakfast, you will be transferred to the Srinagar Airport. Board your flight for your destination with the best memories of the trip offered by TOUROXY.

Important Information : Due to strict security, you are requested to leave from the hotel at least 4 hours before the departure time. You will have to pass 4 security barriers before reaching the airport. This often leads to long traffic jams right outside the airport.

  • Item of personal nature- tips, laundry, room service, telephone, alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages, room heaters, boat rides, pony / horse rides, safaris, rafting, skiing, skating, cable car / ropeway rides, helicopter rides, additional sightseeing tours excursions not included in the itinerary, still or video camera fees etc.

  • Any kind of insurance.

  • Air, Train or Bus fare from / to your originating city of stay, unless specified.

  • Garden entrance fee and guide charges, wherever applicable.

  • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client directly).

  • Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.

  • Aru , Betaab valley and Chandanwari trip in Pahalgam (as this sightseeing is done by local taxis only and is on direct payment basis).

  • Personal meals and personal expenses like entry tickets, telephone, laundry or anything which is not mentioned in the inclusions.
